No one can say enough about the value of a good face-to-face meeting with a prospective client. But, in today's world much business to business internet marketing is done via web meetings. Often an audio conference or even a video conference can be set up using a hosting site; presentations can be made directed toward the needs of the individual client. Web meetings are a cost effective way to meet the client on a more personal level, to be able to better gauge his needs and to be able to offer the feel of very personal service. These meetings are especially useful for overseas clients or for those in remote areas that are not directly served by a major airport. Besides the obvious savings on airplane tickets, travel time is often wasted time and this cuts out that waste and allows for more productivity from employees. In the time it might take to wait in line, fly to a location, grab a taxi or rental vehicle, meet with a potential client and then return back home, an employee could have had multiple web meetings.

A Growing Trend - Business to Business Internet Marketing
One of the most rapidly growing areas of commerce on the web today would be business to business internet marketing. The internet is taking the place of regular mail as the way for businesses to market goods and services to one another. One must be careful not to simply become another spammer. A company does not want to be associated with nuisance emails but rather, it should be geared toward generating solid business leads that will in turn help to produce new customers or clients in the future. The internet can be used to promote products and services, to answer questions, to place orders, to resolve customer service issues, and to cultivate and continue to build toward longer term relationships with customers. The trend toward internet marketing should not be overlooked by any company; to do so in today's world would mean a loss of business and would be a big mistake.
